Geometric tapestry / rug
A handwoven tapestry with a geometric motif in shades of brown and blue. This example designed and executed 1970’s.
Anna Thommesen was a self taught weaver and her works are represented at numerous danish museums. In 1972 she received the Eckersberg medal and in 1975 she was commissioned to decorate The Cathedral of Roskilde, Denmark.
