Poul Henningsen at the Triennale di Milano

These days one of our PH lamps is on show at the exhibition Trame – Copper Shapes in Contemporary Art, Design, Technology and Architecture. The exhibition, presented at the Triennale di Milano, focuses on refined copper objects. A resistant metal, but ductile, malleable and beautiful too, copper has been used in multiple forms and functions; in technical solutions as well as in manifestations of artistic expressions. The exhibition displays this variety of uses through works of art, objects of design and works of architecture, technical and scientific applications, photographic documents and videos.

The PH lamp on loan from Dansk Møbelkunst Gallery is a pendant 8/6, designed in 1929 and made by Louis Poulsen. The exhibition in Milan continues until November 9 2014.
