Swedish textile artist Agda Österberg (1891-1987) was an active textile artist for nearly 70 years known for her remarkable understanding of color. After several important employments and many international exhibitions, Österberg moved to Varnhem, Sweden where she established her own studio ‘Tre Bäcker’ renowned for its many incredible ecclesiastical textile works – some of which can still be found decorating churches throughout Sweden.
