Jacob Kjær (1896-1967) was the son of a cabinetmaker and he followed in his father’s footsteps doing his apprenticeship in his father’s workshop. He later traveled to Paris and Berlin to further improve his talent. In time he became one of Denmark’s finest cabinetmakers with an impeccable sense of materials and craftmanship.
