Svenn Eske Kristensen (19205-2000) was one of the most productive Danish modernist architects of the 20th Century. As the son of a cabinetmaker and carpenter, he was introduced to the world of craftsmanship at an early age. In 1929 he was enrolled at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen, and after his graduation he was involved in the creation of numerous important buildings such as Dronningegården in Copenhagen.
